Fixation treatment after direct dyeing

The dyed fabric treated with fixing agent must be cleaned thoroughly.
Especially for dyed fabrics with turquoise blue, purplish red, bright red, dark brown, navy blue and dark green, not only the dyed fabrics should be washed thoroughly, but also dehydrated by a dehydrator.
Sometimes, after drying, the semi-finished products have no dyeing defects, and then need to be fixed, otherwise the color fastness will have a downward trend. Due to the large amount of dyes on the fabric, if it is not fixed in time, it will cause dye migration, streaking and other defects.
The hardness of water used in color fixing bath should be controlled within 100mg / kg, especially the excessive heavy metal ions.
If the hardness of water is too high, the coagulation of fixation bath will be increased and the fixation effect will be weakened.
Acetic acid must be added when fixing.
Acetic acid can prevent the aggregation of cationic substances, and it is also the cosolvent of cationic substances, which helps to fully dissolve the fixing agent and make the fixation uniform.
The same kind of dyed fabric should be used for fixing agent selection. After fixing, the formaldehyde content should be determined.
